P45 - St Cecilia

This badge depicts St Cecilia playing an organ. It is thought that Cecilia died in Sicily in the 3nd century. She became the patroness of Musicians owing to the legend that, as she lay dying a martyrs death, she praised God by singing to him. Her feast day is celebrated on November 22nd.
